Adult It is taken once a day with drinking water for patients whose blood pressure is not properly controlled with telmisartan alone. It is recommended that the dosage of each ingredient be administered individually before changing administration to this drug, where the dosage of each ingredient is fixed. When it is clinically appropriate, alternative administration from single administration of each ingredient to direct administration of this drug may be considered. -Telmisartan/hydrochlorothiazide combination 40/12.5mg can be administered to patients whose blood pressure is not properly controlled with telmisartan 40mg. -Telmisartan/hydrochlorothiazide combination 80/12.5mg can be administered to patients whose blood pressure is not properly controlled with telmisartan 80mg. -Telmisartan/hydrochlorothiazide combination 80/25mg can be administered to patients whose blood pressure is not properly controlled with telmisartan 80mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg of single or combined administration. Patients with kidney failure Dose adjustment is not necessary for patients with mild-moderate renal impairment. Do not take the drug to patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 mL/min). It is recommended to monitor the new function periodically. Patients with liver disease To patients with mild-moderate hepatic impairment, do not administer more than 40/12.5 mg of the drug per day. This drug should not be administered to patients with severe liver impairment. Thiazide diuretics should be administered with caution to patients with liver dysfunction. Elderly No capacity change is required. Children The safety and efficacy of this drug has not been established in children under 18 years of age.
