○ Adult Since a sudden drop in blood uric acid sometimes causes acute gout attacks, start with a small dose (100mg once a day as allopurinol), and increase serum uric acid levels to 7mg/100 mL for men and postmenopausal women, and 7mg/100 mL for women before menopause. It is administered orally so that it does not exceed 800 mg per day, increasing by 100 mg every week until it reaches 6mg/100 mL. In general, allopurinol divided into 1 to 3 times of 100 to 300mg per day for mild gout in adults, 300 to 600mg per day for moderate nodular gout, and 600 to 800mg per day for severe nodular gout. (not to exceed 300mg at once) is administered orally after meals. ○ In the case of kidney failure, reduce the dose according to the creatinine cleaning rate. If the creatinine cleaning rate is 10 ∼ 20mL/min, then 100 ∼ 200 mg per day, and if it is less than 10mL/min, the amount not exceeding 100mg per day. Orally administer in 1~3 divided or longer intervals. If the plasma oxypurinol level can be measured, the dose is adjusted so that the plasma oxypurinol level is kept below 100 μmol/L (15.2 mg/L).
